Bargad invites applications for the Youth Mental Health Network under the project:
“Building the ecosystem for youth mental health and wellbeing in Pakistan.”

Network size

  • 300 youth members in total
  • 100 from Punjab
  • 100 from Sindh
  • 100 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Project timeline

  • October 2025 to September 2027

What you’ll gain

  • Training on mental health awareness and advocacy
  • Peer learning and safe discussion spaces
  • Opportunities to influence services and policies

Eligibility

  • Age: 18–26 years
  • City: Lahore, Karachi, or Peshawar
  • Permanent resident or living in the city for education/work for the next 2 years
  • Able to attend all in-person and online workshops across the project period
  • Willing to design or support youth-led mental health advocacy
  • Comfortable discussing mental health respectfully in group settings
  • Commit to diversity, inclusion, and open dialogue

Youth from marginalized groups are encouraged to apply

  • Ethnic minority
  • Religious minority
  • Youth with disability
  • Rural or underprivileged background

Your commitment

  • Full voluntary participation (Oct 2025–Sept 2027)
  • Active involvement in workshops, activities, and advocacy initiatives
  • Respect for diversity and shared learning
