Why do young people living with floods, heatwaves, smog, and water scarcity still struggle to be part of climate decision-making?
Drawing from Bargad’s Identification Study, this conversation unpacks the real reasons climate action fails to reach the grassroots — highlighting gaps in access, coordination, and implementation at provincial and district levels.
The study moves beyond awareness to identify what’s missing, who’s involved, and where youth can meaningfully engage — turning climate advocacy into informed, policy-level action.
Because lasting climate solutions need more than intention —
they need inclusion, accountability, and action on the ground.

So why do young people in flood-prone areas, drought-hit districts, and smog-affected cities still feel invisible?
This discussion is grounded in Bargad’s Identification Study, which goes beyond awareness narratives to examine why climate policy isn’t reaching the grassroots — and where implementation breaks down at provincial and district levels.
The study highlights why youth remain excluded despite strong policies, identifies clear entry points for reform, maps existing actors to avoid duplication, and shows where real opportunities for youth engagement actually exist.
Because youth climate action shouldn’t stop at passion —
it must translate into policy-relevant, actionable change.
